Reading Notes: Epified; Mahabharata Videos, Part D
I think this will be my last reading notes of the semester. It feels bittersweet. I enjoyed reading so many different stories and learning so many new things. Here it goes, one last time. Draupadi grows up to be a beautiful princess and her father, Drupad, realizes it's time to marry her off. He organizes an event called Swayamvar. At this event, there will be some sort of task that may require skill/strength/intelligence. Once the man has completed the task, he will be an eligible choice for Draupadi. An important thing to note, Draupadi can pick any man from the group of men that have completed the task. Karna performs, but his lack of title disqualifies him from being chosen. Arjuna and his brothers come out of hiding for this event. Arjuna completes the task and is chosen by Draupadi to be her husband.
